Primary sources only
Facts come from the organizations responsible for them: state licensing agencies, federal agencies such as the EPA and CDC, and peer-reviewed research. We quote the exact passage a claim rests on, link to it, and show when we read it.
No health verdicts in our voice
We are not medical professionals. On health questions, we report what named public health agencies say, attributed and quoted. We do not tell you what is or is not safe.
No pressure
We do not use urgency, alarm, or fear to push anyone to call a company.
No rankings, no paid influence
Lists are alphabetical. No company can pay to change what we say about it or where it appears. See How we make money.
Dates on everything
Every listing shows when we last checked its license. Every source shows when we read it.
Authorship
Pages are published by the AirQualitySource editorial team. We do not name a medical reviewer because we do not have one. See How we use AI.
